Pursuant to Paragraph 8.04 and Paragraph 2.1(g) of PN17 of the Main Market LR, the Company announces that as of the date hereof, the Company is considered a PN17 Company.The PN 17 criterion was triggered following the completion of the sale of the Company's 35.16% equity interest in Perak-Hanjoong Simen Sdn Bhd (PHSSB) to YTL Cement Berhad for a consideration of RM200 million in cash on 10 December 2010. The completion of the sale on 10 December 2010 would result in the Company ceasing its major business as more than 70% of the Company's revenue on a consolidated basis, based on the audited annual or unaudited financial statements, were from PHSSB.
